My chosen object for this project is the double-sided timber bench seat because I thought it was constructive, interesting and appealing to the eye. The timber bench seats are located in John Hay’s Courtyard on level two at Deakin University, Waterfront Campus, Geelong.

The object selected features two double-sided timber seats, spaced at 750mm, and located on two different horizontal levels. The bottom part of the seat is fastened to the ground, the top part to a rise of the brickwork.
